Bachelorette Capital of the World!
It’s true! Nashville is the Number 1 destination for bachelorettes AND bachelors, according to a study published in the spring of 2019 by CNN. Two years later, after the big pandemic, Channel 4 in Nashville states that Music City is still the place to go for that last fling before the ring.
If that is in fact true, why Nashville over places like Las Vegas, Charleston, New Orleans and a host of other party cities? I have a few thoughts.
First, the people and leadership of Nashville welcome people having a great time here. The downtown area is relatively safe, and there are hundreds of places to eat and drink within a square mile around Lower Broadway, SoBro, and The Gulch. Restrictions on scooters and “transpotainment” vehicles are minimal, and there are very few bars and honky-tonks charging cover charges.
Next, Nashville is very accessible geographically. Many visitors drive in from as far as Texas and Wisconsin. You are within an 8 hour drive from 40-50% of the country. And, it doesn’t hurt that you can get to Nashville and back on Southwest Airlines from just about anywhere.
Next, where else can you go and get live music until your ears bleed? Yes, Nashville is Music City, and we prove it!
Finally, the economy in Nashville has evolved to encourage bachelorettes and bachelors to spend their money and time here. Nashville has begun to actually cater to soon-to-be young marrieds, and we plan to stay on top for some time to come!
